On May 2, 2019, Naxos released an all-Leshnoff recording performed by the Nashville Symphony Orchestra. Works include Leshnoff’s concert opener Starburst, his Guitar Concerto with soloist Jason Vieaux, and the premiere of his Symphony No. 4, “Heichalos” featuring the Violins of Hope.

Commissioned by the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, this piece is based on an ancient Jewish mystical text called a Hechailos, which describes a mystic’s journey through a meditative pass way to get closer to God’s presence.
The piece will be recorded for commercial release in addition to the Guitar Concerto.
