Pianist Joyce Yang will be performing my Piano Concerto with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra on November 12 and 14, 2021 conducted by Jessica Cottis.

TSO co-commissioned the work with The Kansas City Symphony.

Jerry Dubins of Fanfare Magazine says of Yang’s recording of the Piano Concerto, performed with The Kansas City Symphony, Michael Stern, conductor: "I can’t begin to tell you what powers of imagination, creativity, and pure magic were the sources of Leshnoff’s inspiration. I predict that this is a concerto that pianists are going to queue up to play and that audiences are going to thrill to.”
