The “President's Own” United States Marine Band Premieres and Records “Symphony of Winds”

Jonathan Leshnoff was commissioned by the “President’s Own” United States Marine Band to write new work for band in honor of the Band’s 225th anniversary. Symphony for Winds will be premiered on April 30, 2023, at Strathmore Hall, Bethesda, MD. This dramatic and energetic three-movement symphonic work uses “G-d of our Fathers” as inspiration for its final movement.
